Gregg is CEO and Chairman of the Board of PV Powered. Prior to joining PV Powered, Mr. Patterson was a Vice President of Hewlett Packard within their extremely successful Printing and Imaging Group. His responsibilities at HP included; General Management of $1B+ businesses spanning both Enterprise and Consumer segments and direct involvement in mergers & acquisitions, successfully leading the acquisition and integration of several key companies bought by HP. Mr. Patterson also lead strategic technology platform development (HW, FW, SW, and online services teams) supporting multiple business sectors. Gregg has managed worldwide R&D teams of 300+ engineers and lead world wide procurement and operational efforts at HP growing the Deskjet Product line from several thousand units per month to more than 3 million units per month. Gregg graduated from the University of Washington with a BSME and was awarded an HP Fellowship and attended Stanford University where he got his Masters in Engineering.
Glenn Harris is President of PV Powered. Beginning in 2001 Mr. Harris was the general manager of a major value added solar electric distributor. In addition to his operational and financial responsibilities, Glenn was the principal architect of the company's successful multi-market expansion in the U.S. and Canada, resulting in an exponential increase in company revenue. Mr. Harris consults or advises at a high level with government, industry and advocacy groups about federal and state incentive programs and is well versed in the specifics of the programs and their impacts on business. After receiving his B.S. from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1980, where he focused on imaging sciences, Glenn has spent his career pursuing his interests in new light sensitive materials, equipment and processes. He has worked for and consulted with multinationals, the Fortune 500, entrepreneurs in various business stages and has founded and managed his own successful multi-million dollar companies. He has been published in various trade journals and on the web, and been the key note speaker at industry events.
Steve is Vice President of Engineering, bringing 27 years of experience in high technology innovation and product development. Most recently he held VP Marketing and VP Advanced Technology roles for Nanometrics and was Chief Technology Officer for Accent Optical Technologies, both semiconductor metrology and process control suppliers. Prior experiences include positions at AT&T Bell Labs, Hewlett-Packard and Agilent Labs, and Nova Crystals. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and has authored 85 publications and 11 patents. Steve holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from USC, where he was a Center for Photonic Technology Fellow, and an MSEE and BA in Chemistry from Rutgers University.
Roger is CFO of PV Powered, with over 23 years experience with small to medium sized high tech manufacturers. Previously, Roger served as CFO and VP of Finance for IdaTech (Fuel Cells) for two years and with Eurotherm/Action Instruments (a division of Invensys plc) for six years. Prior to that, he spent 10 years as CFO and Controller with Desalination Systems, where he played an instrumental role in Desal's rapid growth, ultimately leading to its acquisition by Osmonics (now GE Water). Roger holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University.
Jim is Director of Business Development at PV Powered. Prior to joining PV Powered, Mr. Morgenson spent 23 years with Rockwell Automation. He most recently lead Rockwell Automation’s Semiconductor & Electronics Industry Initiative responsible for establishing & executing a global industry strategy to maximize company sales growth achieving a compounded annual growth rate of 20% over his last 10 years of service. During his tenure Morgenson developed the business-planning model for Rockwell’s Global OEM Alliance sales channel and oversaw it’s utilization in the residential, commercial and industrial HVAC market. Morgenson received Rockwell’s Chairman’s Team Award for new product and plant developments where he initiated customer partnership metrics with a focus on operational excellence and a rigorous continuous improvement processes. Morgenson is a 1984 BSME graduate from The Pennsylvania State University, State College, PA.
Yong is the VP of Manufacturing for PV Powered. Mr. Park comes to PV Powered from Hewlett Packard where he spend 29 years in global procurement and fabrication management and is a well known sheet metal design and fabrication expert. He has been teaching the sheet metal design seminars for over 15 years. Yong also holds two U.S. patents and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Inha University in Korea and attended Polytechnic University of New York graduate school. During a brief leave from Hewlett Packard, Mr. Park served as Vice President and General Manager at Shinei USA that was acquired by Solectron.
Erick is Vice President of Sales and Marketing at PV Powered. Prior to joining PV Powered, Erick spent 10 years at Planar Systems, most recently as Vice President and General Manager of the company’s Commercial Business Unit. While at Planar, Erick created the business strategy and assembled the team that grew the commercial flat panel monitor business from zero to $100M in three years. Prior to Planar, Erick held a wide range of sales, marketing and business development roles at the Danaher Corporation, Access Media, and Tektronix, Inc. Erick holds a BS degree from Oregon State University and attended the Advanced Executive Program of the Kellogg Graduate School of Business Administration at Northwestern University.
Terry is the Director of Sales of PV Powered, and brings to the company extensive experience from all aspects of the power industry. Before joining PV Powered, Mr. Sholin was most recently the Business Development Manger of SatCon Power Systems, a manufacturer of power electronics and control systems, and responsible for the business development of commercial renewable energy applications. Sholin's activities included market definition and development as well as sales and support to OEMs, integrators, distributors, PPA's, and installers. Prior to SatCon Sholin was also Regional Manager at Power Distribution, Inc. (Richmond, VA), and held a number of increasingly responsible sales positions in the power industry.
Garrett is PV Powered's Director of Manufacturing and Operations. He is responsible for day-to-day manufacturing operations. Garrett’s 20 years of leadership experience in the high tech industry include project management and operations roles at leading companies including Apple Computer and EarthLink. Garrett attended San Jose State University.
